My fellow road warriors,
I hope your RVing season is going wonderfully! Fall is right around the corner, and I’ll be seeing many of you at Hershey!
My business is having some exciting changes, and I wanted to share the details with you all.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my subscribers. Your unwavering support and feedback have been instrumental in the growth of this platform. It is your encouragement that has emboldened me to take the next step in expanding our business and enhancing our web presence.
The RV PHD will soon move to a new format, with a new, professionally built, and supported website, blog, social media presence, and video presence. I want all RVers to be able to benefit from the information we put out there and to also be available to our industry partners to be able to produce content that can be seen and is useful to all. This will tie in with content I produce for consumer outlets like Family RVing Magazine, and RVing Today TV, as well as my consumer education seminars across the country, and industry technician training.
Rest assured, the high-quality content you’ve come to expect from us will remain unchanged. We plan to enrich it further by incorporating more of the content we had at Trailer Life and MotorHome. Our collaborations with other industry professionals will also continue, ensuring that you receive the most reliable and comprehensive information.
Also, there will be no subscription fee for the newsletter going forward! We will have advertising on the sites and may have occasional sponsorships. We’ll be able to recommend the products we like without offending the platform we are currently on. Also, we’ve been reissued an Amazon Associates account, so the items we talk about or recommend can be easily researched and purchased. Additionally, we plan on having an Amazon store with the items we like the best for RVers and technicians. All of this, of course, helps us maintain the site and content at no additional cost to you.
We’ll also be able to review products in the new format, which we can’t now. This will allow us to reach more of the RVing public with the same tie-in to education as we currently do. Over time, we may add some interesting, non-tech categories, guest writers, and more. The new format will allow for a much better experience in all formats.
During the process, the websites may get wonky during the changeover, but the new format will be worth the angst.
Everyone who is a free or paid subscriber will be automatically moved over to the new system…nothing you need to do. If you don’t want to participate that’s OK, the new system will have an easy unsubscribe.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Chris
